Motion made to accept transfer of Josh Cox to L-3784 by Steve Puglisi 2nd by Mark Albrink.  Motion Passed

Motion made to accept Brandon Johnson to L-3784 by Mark Rolfsen 2nd by Curt Lainhart.  Motion Passed

Committee Reports

 

Fitness committee members met and looked at equipment, and talked with Chief Martin in regards to questions on purchasing the equipment.

It appears that the District is going to try to buy equipment.

 

 

 

 

 

Unfinished Business

 

T-shirt design and ideas for the KFA conference were discussed.  Adam and Mike will meet with Troy Bertke on 07/15/04 to discuss design options.

Motion made by Adam Peddicord to have all L-3784 members receive a free conference t-shirt 2nd by Steve Puglisi.  Motion Passed

First Financial account is still active and can’t be closed until Keith Collins or Brad Hanlon sign to close it.

Motion made to accept the bills as read by Marcus Muench 2nd by Mark Rolfsen.  Motion Passed

Letter received from LA County firefighters L-1014 requesting assistance for the son of one of their local members.  Motion made to send a donation in the amount of $25.00 to the Matt Loaiza trust fund by Mark Albrink 2nd by Curt Lainahrt.  Motion Passed

 

Good and Welfare

 

Mark Rolfsen and wife Kimmi are expecting their first child.

Josh Cox and wife Holly are expecting their first child.

New Business

 

Motion made to increase the amount of money for union clothing order from $1000.00 to $2000.00 by Mark Rolfsen 2nd by Marcus Muench.  Motion Passed

Motion made to spend up to $1000.00 for the KFA conference hospitality room for food and beverages by Craig Smith 2nd by Marcus Muench.  Motion Passed

President Kresser request that if you are interested in going to Boston get with him or Adam so they can figure out arrangements that will need to be made.

President Kresser requested discussion from the floor on the union paying for spouses at the KFA conference.  Item was discussed with no motion made.
