Unfinished Business

 

Football game was a success. The Tri-State Fallen Firefighter’s Fund raised around $2500.00. The Explorer post raised $297.00 after re-imbursement to the local for the food.

 

“Firefighters Ride for Kids” will be on June 26. The ride will start at Willies Sports Bar in Covington, KY and will end at Big Bone in Union. We will need all the help can to run the operations part of the ride. Please check out our website for the details.

 

Austin is going to work on designing the t-shirts for the KFA conference since Mike Fronimos is out-of-town.

New Business

 

A motion was made to sponsor a hole at the 2004 KFA golf outing in the amount of $100.00 by Craig Smith 2nd by Jason Ellis Motion Passed

 

Please recycle your pop cans, we talked about the money going to needy families at Christmas.

 

A motion to pay Jamie Broughton in the amount of $41.00 for a jersey for the 2004 football game by Craig Smith 2nd by Jim Hammel. Motion passed

 

A motion to donate money to help fund the “Firefighter’s Ride for Kids” charity event on June 26, 2004 in the amount of $150.00 by Tony Crouch 2nd by Jim Hammel. Motion Passed

 

A motion to pay the Tri-State Fallen Firefighter’s Fund in the amount of $130.00 for checks written to our local for donation for the Tri-State Fallen Firefighter’s fund at the 2004 football game by Tony Crouch 2nd by Tony Scheben. Motion passed

 

A motion was made to spend $1000.00 on union clothing for stock by Tony Crouch 2nd by Jason Ellis. Motion Passed

 

President Kresser formed a fitness committee, which consists of himself, Joe Donk, Gabe Maschinot, and Craig Smith.

 

The KPF Firefighter Olympics will be before the conference in August. Keith Collins would like to know if anyone is interested in getting a team together.

 

A motion was made to send two donations in the amount of $50.00 each for letters send requesting assistance from other locals.
