Membership

Bill Martin submitted an application for membership. Motion to accept Bill Martin as a dues paying member of the local by Tara Kleier, 2^nd by Mark Rolfsen. Motion Passed

Motion to accept resignation in good standing from Bill Allen as a member of L-3784 by Steve Puglisi, 2^nd by Mark Albrinck. Motion passed

Motion to terminate the membership of honorary member Dale A. Harshbarger by Mike Fronimos, 2^nd by Steve Puglisi. Motion passed

Motion to make Sharon L. Smith an honorary member of Local 3784 by Tara Kleier, 2^nd by Steve Puglisi. Motion passed

President’s Report

Convention is coming up in August. Anyone interested in staying in Boston please let the e-board know.

Unfinished Business

Discussed football concessions. Austin will purchase the food for the concessions.

“Firefighters Ride for Kids” will be on June 26. The ride will start at Willies Sports Bar in Covington, KY and will end at Big Bone in Union. We will need all the help can to run the operations part of the ride. Please check out our website for the details.

First Financial bank account should be closed today.

Discussion about a hospitality room for the KFA conference in August at the Marriott Hotel. L-3784 is looking to sponsor a room. President Kresser will contact a reprehensive about the room. Motion to buy 300 t-shirts designed for the conference, to sell at the hospitality room by Tara Kleier, 2^nd by Mike Fronimos. Motion Passed

Jason Ellis was in the hospital due to an acute condition. Jason is out and doing well.

New Business

A motion was made to purchase a half page add in the 2004 KFA conference book in the amount of $100.00 by Mike Fronimos, 2^nd by Mark Rolfsen. Motion Passed

Motion to spend up to $350.00 for a garden pond kit, and plaque for a landscape display using a fire hydrant in front of Station 1 by Mark Albrinck, 2bd by Mark Rolfsen. Motion passed
