Unfinished Business

  • Add for the Boston 2004 conference as been purchased.
  • Credit cards for e-board have come in
  • A by-law change has been summated by President Kresser to allow the e-board to spend a set amount of money per month without prior approval. See attached by-law change.
  • IRS has sent a letter confirming application for tax-exempt

 

Bills and Communications

  • A letter was received from District 1 vice president John Cross concerning a Motorcycle ride for charity. The meeting will be held on February 18 @7:30 PM at the Covington Union Hall.

  • Hebron flowers and gifts $25.00
  • Credit card up to $30.00 for Flowers for the Braun family

Good and Welfare

  • Motion to send $100.00 to Gordy Webster, member of Baltimore City Firefighters Local 734 for his son who is ill with cancer. Motion made by Scott Hoppius, 2nd by Tom Work, motion carried.
  • Rob Braun has summated a letter thanking the union for sending flowers to his step-mother who is in the hospital for cancer surgery. He ask that you keep her in your thoughts, and prayers.

 

 

New Business

    1. Reimburse Tony Crouch $114.75 for the purchase of office supplies
      • 100 roll of stamps $37.00
      • APPROVED stamp $5.29
      • 500 envelopes $30.73
      • ink cartridges for printer $41.73
    2. Purchase IAFF Burn calendars for $105.50
    3. Pay Kentucky Post (Both Stations)  $350.00 for the year
    4. Pay Enquire (Sunday) $96.72 St-2 for the year

 

Motion to pay items 1through 4 in new business by Gabe Maschinot, 2nd by Greg McDermott. Motion carried

 

  • Motion to increasing union bond to $10,000.00 form the current $2500.00 at the cost of  $79.00 for three years by Scott Hoppius, 2nd by Steve Puglisi, motion carried. President Kresser noted a by-law change may have to be made concerning the bond.
  • Motion to purchase 100 helmet stickers by Tom Work, 2nd by Steve Puglisi, motion carried
  • Motion to send 3 union t-shirts to Orange County Choppers by Steve Puglisi 2nd by Gabe Maschinot, motion carried
  • A motion to send 1 delegate and 1 alternate to the IAFF convention in Boston  at the unions expense by Steve Puglisi, 2nd by Greg McDermott, motion carried.
  • Motion to spend up to $300.00 to get the website published to the world wide web by Tony Scheben, 2nd by Gabe Maschinot
