President’s Report

Mike met with V.P. John Cross to discuss the future of the union

 

The IAFF state convention will be held in Covington from July 30th through August 4th  

 

There will be a district 1 meeting held in Covington’s Union Hall on March 22nd

Membership

 

Mike Fronimos was sworn in by President Bruce Roberts as a mid-term President

 

A motion was made to accept the following applicants to the union by Tara Kleier, 2nd by Curt Lainhart. Motion Passed:

Ronald Jones

 

 

Committees

Jason Ellis and Andy Ifcic were appointed to the audit committee

 

Ron Jones was appointed to the political action committee

 

Mike Hoppius and Tara Kleier were appointed to the fund-raising committee

Good and Welfare

Jason Ellis just had another baby

 

Josh Cox will be leaving our local to take another job in Independence. He thanked the local, and said his farewells.

 

Carol Smith, a pat long-time volunteer, passed away due to cancer. The union sent flowers.

 

Charley Henson died, he was another long-time volunteer

 

 

New Business
