NEW NEWS

Members of Local 3784 were working the Boone County Fair when Congressman Geoff Davis and Boone County Sheriff Mike Helmig stopped by for a photo op.


The Local members guest bartended at Margarita's in Erlanger on May 17th, 2006 to raise money for MDA. 

We will also be bartending on October 18th, 2006. Come out and join the fun!!


President Smith and Vice President Crouch will be traveling to Canada for the 2006 IAFF International conference

NEW E-BOARD ELECTED

At the November meeting, our new e-board was elected. President Craig Smith; Vice President Tony Crouch; Secretary/Treasure Steve Jernigan. Please congratulate them when you see them


UNION MAKES MOTION TO PROVIDE GIFTS TO FAMILIES FOR CHRISTMAS

At the November meeting, our local approved $250.00 per family to provide Christmas gifts and dinner for two families in Hebron. One will be a needy family, and one will be a military family.


 

THREE LOCAL MEMBERS GO TO TLC'S JUNKYARD WARS

Local members Jeff Hartline, Keith Collins, and Bill Fletcher were on the the Junkyard Wars 3 hour episode of the Great Race. The team placed third out of four teams. The guys represented the IAFF with a logo on the side of their panel van they used in the show. The filming took place last year, and lasted two weeks in Las Vegas NV.


CHARITY FOOTBALL GAME

The 2004 charity football game was a success. The final score; Boone County 15, Kenton County 0. We managed to raise $2500.00 for the Tri-State Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Thanks to all that helped and attended the game. Also a special thanks to Rozzi Family Fireworks for a spectacular firework display.
